From application to arrival
Every step of international placement, explained: screening, licensing, visas and onboarding.
Step 1 — Apply
Submit your application online in a few minutes — with or without a CV, and no account needed. Tell us your profession, experience, current location and preferred destinations so we can match you accurately.
Step 2 — Screening and verification
A recruiter reviews your profile against current employer requirements. Shortlisted candidates have a screening conversation covering experience, documents, licensing status and relocation readiness. We verify qualifications, registrations and experience letters before presenting you to employers.
Step 3 — Licensing and documentation
Most destinations require a local professional licence — for example DHA/DOH/MOH in the UAE or the relevant nursing council recognition in Europe. We guide you through exam preparation, document attestation, medicals and police clearance, and tell you exactly what each destination requires before you spend money on any step.
Step 4 — Interviews and offer
You interview directly with the employer — usually by video call. If selected, you receive a written employment contract stating your role, salary, benefits, contract length and working conditions. Review it carefully and ask questions before signing. Never travel on a tourist visa with a promise that paperwork follows.
Step 5 — Visa, travel and arrival
Once the contract is signed, the employer sponsors your work visa. We coordinate the paperwork, medicals and travel booking. On arrival, expect employer-arranged reception, housing (where included in your package) and workplace onboarding.
How long does it take?
Timelines vary widely by destination, profession and how quickly licensing and visa authorities process your case. Gulf placements often move faster than European ones. Your recruiter gives you a realistic timeline for your specific route after screening — and updates you if it changes.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a CV to apply?
No — you can apply with or without one. A CV helps us match you faster, but the application form captures the essentials.
Will I interview with the employer directly?
Yes. Shortlisted candidates interview directly with the employer, usually by video call, before any offer is made.
Who pays for the visa and flights?
On the employer-pays model, the hiring employer sponsors the work visa and typically covers flights and medicals. You should never be asked to pay SteadStaff for placement.
How long does placement usually take?
It varies by destination, profession and licensing timelines. Your recruiter gives you a realistic timeline for your route after screening.
